About us

Szlachetna Paczka USA connects Polish American families in need with volunteers and donors. Since 2015 we have been active in Chicago and the suburbs as a project of The Spring Foundation.

We get to know the families’ situations and organize help that responds to their specific needs. We want to support their independence, build relationships and restore hope.

We are volunteers, donors and people of good will. Get to know Small Volunteering or contact us.

Our story

2001 – the beginnings in Poland

Szlachetna Paczka was founded on the initiative of Fr. Jacek Stryczek and the WIOSNA Association. Its mission was wise, direct help for people and families in difficult situations, and connecting those in need with people who want to help.

2005 – The Spring Foundation is born

The foundation was established by former members of the university ministry at St. Anne’s Church in Kraków, led by Fr. Jacek Stryczek, who were living in the USA. This Polish American organization, registered in the USA as a 501(c)(3), supported the projects of the WIOSNA Association in Poland, including Szlachetna Paczka and the Academy of the Future. It organized concerts, events and charity campaigns.

2015 – helping in Chicago

The Spring Foundation began organizing Szlachetna Paczka in Chicago and the suburbs. Thanks to volunteers, help reaches Polish American families in difficult life situations and supports them in regaining their independence.

2026 – community and pastoral care

At the founder’s request, the organization took on a Catholic character, and its work was placed under the pastoral care of the parish in Lombard. An important part of our mission is building a community based on Christian values, solidarity and care for others.
